The WICCI outreach program works with citizens, scientists, administrators, and elected officials to increase awareness of climate impacts, and build Wisconsin's capacity to adapt to a changing climate.
The Operations and Outreach Unit provides logistical support to the Science Council, organizes meetings and workshops and performs outreach functions related to the mission of WICCI. It is housed in and staffed by the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It also works in conjuction with the Communicatins and Outreach Group.
